Community Events

Hosted by First Presbyterian

Join the Ladies for Fellowship and Bible Study on Thursday, February 20th, at 7 PM in Fellowship Hall.  We are continuing our study of grief and the Book of Job.  In the Chondra Pierce Study Guide, Laughing in the Dark, we are discussing Doubt.  Read Job 2:11-3:26 to discover Job’s well-meaning set of friends who offer their unique spin on what they think Job’s underlying problem is with his relationship to God.  Let us learn how we can be better friends in times of doubt and despair.   Come join us as we celebrate our friendships, our disappointments, and our joys in times of grief.   Bring a friend!

The Miracle Quilters will be meeting on the first and third Thursdays of each month unless there is inclement weather or a holiday.

Everyone is invited to come help and tie knots on lap quilts that are given to the area nursing homes.
